The media office of the Lebanese Ministry of Labor issued a statement in which it explained that given the rise in the unemployment rate in Lebanon, because of the economic crisis through which the country passes, and in order to reduce transfers money abroad, it was decided to stop using foreign labor only in extreme cases.
In this context, the ministry called on companies and companies to assume their national responsibility and to hire the Lebanese.
