Residents of the village of Bamm in the city of Tala in the governorate of Menoufia (northern Egypt) mourned on Sunday evening five workers who died as a result of their fall in a sewerage sink.
Dozens of Tala residents gathered in front of the central hospital demanding the rights of the victims of the sewerage in the governorate.
According to a statement issued by the province has died five workers and another injured – all aged between the third and fourth decades – as a result of their fall in a sewerage sink.
In recent months, falls in sewage drains have increased, according to local reports, due to incidents of theft of recycled sewer cover.
