Morocco: Blatant violation of trade union freedoms at Alza Transport

The National Transport Coordination Company of Alza Transport, affiliated to the Moroccan Labor Union, in partnership with the International Transport Union, organized a protest rally in front of the social headquarters of the company in Rabat, on Thursday, in protest against the flagrant violation of the trade union right exercised by the Foundation's management.

The rally was attended by representatives of the company's branches in the Kingdom, who raised slogans and banners demanding respect for trade union freedoms and refusing to expel workers, including the general secretary of the trade union office of the company "Alza" in Tangier, Jamal al-Sharafi.

The National Coordination confirmed in a communiqué that this protest movement will be followed by a series of other struggles in the coming days until the administration backs away from its irresponsible and illegal practices and stop its systematic restrictions on the rights and freedoms of workers and employees of the company in various Moroccan cities.
