Twenty people were injured in a horrific bus accident that took place on the Emirates Road on Wednesday night near the border between Dubai and Sharjah.
The bus was carrying workers to their accommodation in the direction of the Sharjah industrial area when the driver lost control of the vehicle.
The workers received minor to serious injuries.
According to a senior Sharjah traffic police official, they received a call from the Dubai Police at around 8pm, informing them of the accident. A team of rescue vehicles was rushed to the site.
