The city's public prosecutor's office of October 6 decided to arrest seven workers of 'Eastern Company' for four days as part of the investigation launched against those concerned for charges of abstaining from work, incitement to strike and obstruction of work; so far 17 workers have been summoned before the investigating judge.
The workers of the company organized last Wednesday a protest rally and blocked production units to put pressure on the administration to whom they claim an increase in the daily premium to 220 pounds for the 6th class and more, an increase in the collective premium to 900 days, a 20% increase for restaurant vouchers and the maintenance of health insurance.
The workers also demand an increase of the work premium to 75% for the agents of the factory and to 50% for the administrative agents, the regulation of the situation of the workers of 'Top Services' and their tenure and the regulation skills of workers in the same service after an examination.
