The Saudi Banking Awareness Committee set the maximum threshold for transfers of foreign residents holding three-month work visa in Saudi Arabia.
On its official Tweeter account, the Saudi Banks explained that, in accordance with the instructions of the Saudi Monetary Agency, the maximum transfer threshold for a foreign worker during his/her first three months in the kingdom was set at 10,000 riyals for each transfer.
The worker must provide a residence permit and open a bank account in his name to make the transfer.
