The Secretary-General of the Moroccan Union of Labor (UMT), Miloudi Makhariq, revealed that there is a major disagreement between the unions and the government and the employers on the issue of the Labor Code and the labor laws.
On the sidelines of his participation in the work of the summer faculty of the General Confederation of Enterprises of Morocco (employers' organization), Miloudi Makhariq explained that the government and employers seek to revise the Labor Code to weaken the gains of workers especially in professional stability by integrating the notion of flexibility which will make dismissals more frequent.
