Egypt: Police Arrest 12 Workers of the General Investment Authority in Ismailia

The online newspaper 'Echaab' reported that the police stormed the headquarters of the General Investment Authority in the city of Ismailia after a protest organized by the workers. Police arrested 12 workers, four of whom are women.

A video published by the online newspaper showed the protest organized two days ago by the workers in front of the Authority's headquarters after a three-day strike. Workers are demanding payment of the July premium and the cost of living bonus.
