Algeria: Workers at the 'Haddad' factory in Tizi Ouzou without salaries for four months

Dozens of workers at the 'Haddad public works' factory protested at the group's administrative headquarters in the city of Tizi Ouzou on Tuesday over the fact that their wages have been frozen for four months.

The 'Achourouk' newspaper reported, citing protesters, that workers in the group's various workshops claimed to have been without pay for four months while their colleagues working on the group's other sites had been paid.

The workers called on the parties concerned to intervene as soon as possible in order to settle this matter, especially as they prepare for expenses relating to the new school year.
