Trade union sources reported that Minister of Education, Higher Education and Scientific Research Walid al-Maeani called for a list of teachers on strike. This list would also include official information on the strikers collected by the ministry, the schools they work in, and the number of strike days they have had since the beginning of the school year.
The minister called on school principals to provide him with detailed data on all striking Jordanian teachers.
