The Jordanian Labor Observatory reported that journalists from the Jordanian news agency, radio and television demanded an increase in the professional bonus, an increase in transport and additional work allowances, a restructuring of appointments and grades.
In a statement issued by the representative committee of the journalists concerned, industry professionals explained that there is an 'opacity' in the general administration of the two companies and have in this context called for the opening of a dialogue on their requests and this with the aim of creating an environment conducive to journalistic work.
