Five construction workers dropped from the third floor of a building in the construction stage in Gamasa city in Daqahleya governorate, the day before yesterday, causing sporadic fractures and bruises in their bodies.
Major General Fadel Ammar, Director of Daqahleya Security, received a notification from Major General Sayed Sultan, Director of Criminal Investigation, indicating that a notice is received from Gamasa Central Hospital that five workers with fractures, bruises and scattered abrasions had arrived claiming that they had fallen from a height.
The injured were taken to the city's central hospital, are, Mohammed Attia Shaaban 18 years old, Mr. Badawi 30 years old, residents of Al Khalalah village, Walid Abdel Nasser Hosni 16 years old, Ibrahim Ibrahim Abu Tamarsi 30 years old, residents of Safsafi village and Mustafa Helmi 25 years old resident of Kom El Ahmar.They are all from Belqas station. They were transferred to the new Damietta hospital.
According to eyewitnesses, the accident was due to the absence of safety rules and conditions while performing their work .
