In an interview with the Maghreb Arab Press ( MAP), , the Moroccan Labor Union Secretary General, Miloud Moukharik said that the files of generalizing wage increases, alleviating tax burden and the firm refusal of the governmental project strike law, are priorities during the current social session of the Moroccan Labor Union, which intends to stand firmly against violations of the union freedoms, according to his statement.
He highlighted the fact that in order to deal with these files, this centralized trade union will ask the Government to take urgent action to safeguard social benefits and meet the demands of the working class.
He said that this social session of 2019 is exceptional at all levels, especially since the wage situation requires much improvement, pointing out that the agreement signed with the government on April 25, 2019 did not include all wagers, because the increase in wages, which does not suit the different aspirations, is of interest to a group of employees, without the private sector wagers, who were not included in this agreement, and expressed his regret that the decree concerning the application of family compensation increase , which concerned the first three children, recorded a five-month delay.
The Moroccan Labor Union will also demand that the school education costs be deducted from the tax base, as a way to alleviate the burden on families and improve their income.
