Casablanca cleaners are expected to go on a strike and hold a sit-in on the 12th, 13th and 14th of the current month.
In this context, the Unified Office of Cleaners in Casablanca, under the Moroccan Workers Union (UMT), issued a statement in which they confirmed that the concerned authorities continue to ignore and do not respond to their claims
The workers of both 'Averda' and 'Dirschburg' cleaning companies and the workers of the local community have called for dismissed trade unionists to return to their posts, to improve their financial and social conditions, to raise the salaries and grants for all levels of cleaners in Casablanca and to safeguard the gains and rights of the workers in the sector.
