Algeria: A hundred workers from primary schools in the municipality of Djanet without payment for three months

The Algerian newspaper 'Echourouk' reported that a hundred workers from primary schools in the commune of Djanet have been without pay for three months. According to the newspaper, one hundred workers are affected by this wage delay while their contracts must, usually, be renewed with each new financial year.

Although the salary costs of these workers are included in the 912th chapter of the finance law and the minutes of the payment of the same salaries have been signed, no regulation has been made to this crisis.

Workers continue to be deprived of their wages while living in difficult social conditions, especially with the approach of the new school year.
