The Public Prosecutor's Office has ordered the release of 'Omar Effendi' workers, previously arrested after they had been charged with incitement, blocking production, and creating conflicts between workers to undermine the interests of the workers. Security sources explained that a subsequent investigation has refuted all the charges in question.
In the same context, and following a meeting with the President of the Administrative Council, it was agreed that ‘Omar Effendi’ would pay its workers a bonus worth a month and a half of salaries on the occasion of Eid.
Previously, 'Omar Effendi' was under great pressure after protesters demanded the payment of delayed premiums for the years 2017 and 2018.
