The Chemical Industries Corporation, 'Pachin', located in Obour City ( east of Cairo), informed about the deaths of two workers, the injury of four others and other material damage following an explosion at the factory last Thursday.
The company's administration stated that initial investigations indicate that the explosion occurred at the factory‘s electrical chamber.
The Chemical Industries Company added that it will carry out maintenance work so that the factory can resume its operations as soon as possible, explaining that all the secondary factories are working at the same pace and with the same production capacity.
It pointed out that all new data will be announced to the public once the investigation phase was over and the resulting damages were assessed.
