Oil engineers who work without contracts have been carrying out an open strike since July 15 demanding about 500 engineers be appointed official posts in oil ministry companies, just as their colleagues were previously appointed.
Trade union sources confirmed to the Arab Trade Union Confederation website that the strike will continue in defense of the legitimate rights of engineers, who suffer from harsh financial and social conditions.
