The SPA expressed its satisfaction saying “triumphant people, today our road is getting bigger, let’s hold together and fill every empty space with cohesion”. It invited the people to be joyful “today is the birth of joy in our country, let the freedom’s sun shine without any clouds”

According to the agreement, the transitional period should last three years and three months as following:

1. Six months for peace

2. 21 first months (including the six first months) will be led by the militaria

3. The 8 last months will be led by civilians

4. The Forces of Freedom and Change (FFC) will form an independent technocratic government.

5. The Council of sovereignty: five seats would go to the military and five to civilians, with an additional seat given to a civilian agreed upon by both sides.

6. Postpone the establishment of a legislative council until the Council and the Cabinet are formed.

Both parties agreed on a technical juridical committee with African participation who will be working for 48 hours starting Saturday morning before signing the final political agreement, as well as, an independent investigating national instance to investigate the events since April 11th 2019.
