Hundreds of workers in the public administration of the Ministry of Health in Iraq held protests on July 1st in front of the ministry’s building to ask for the premium risk, which amounts to 80% and to ask for an increase in housing allowances.
According to local media sources, the protesters said they refuse any discrimination between the office workers and the medical staff saying that they face the same risks and dangers and urged the ministry to meet their demands.
