According to the Moroccan Workers’ Union website, the trade union of the LE LIDO hotel users and employees, in Casablanca, signed a good agreement with the administration.
The agreement, which came after the previous meetings, included the implementation of the 2019 demands’ file, according to which the employees will benefit from important increases related to the granting of transportation, housing, Eid al-Adha, Ramadan and children's education.
The two parties of the negotiations affirmed that these privileges are considered as irrevocable rights, and that they are contained in the records signed between them on April 22, 2011, April 2013, April 2015 and April 2017, and that the negotiations organized between them are in accordance with articles 92 and 471 of the Labour Code.
The union pointed out that this record was a result of the full awareness of the importance of the commitment to mutual rights and duties, especially the continuous improvement of the working conditions, their financial and moral motivation on the one hand and the preservation of the institution’s reputation through the quality of services, on the other hand. All this is in order to challenge the competition in the hotel sector and the mutual will between the union and the administration, in the prospect of reaching a collective agreement that is mutually agreeable between the two partners.
