Thousands of Moroccans protested on Sunday in Rabat under the slogan "For the Sake of Palestine, Against the Deal of Shame, Against Betrayal Forum in Bahrain".
In this march, for which some Moroccan organizations and syndicates called, protesters raised the Palestinian flags, and sang chants of solidarity of Palestinian people.
The protesters started marching from Bab El Had "Sunday Gate" towards the Parliament building. They shouted "people are against the deal" and "people demand the liberation for Palestinian people".
Anadolu Agency reported that protesters, in this march, in which some non-governmental associations, syndicates, parties and authorities are together, burned Israeli flags and stressed their government not to support such deal; especially that it aims to liquidate the Palestinian cause. They, also, raised Al-Aqsa Mosque photos in supporting with the Palestinian people.
It is known that the Palestinian Authority boycotted Manamah Conference intitled "Peace to Prosperity Workshop", considering Trump administration, which announces its support with Israeli occupation, seeking to lure Palestinian people in order to seize their land and not allowing them to live in an independent state.
"Peace to Prosperity Workshop" conference, held on June 25th and 26th, is announced by Washington to look out for the economic aspects of the "Deal of Century".
This "Deal of Century", is a peace plan, developed by Trump administration, and it is repeatedly said that it is based on compelling Palestinian people to unfairly cede their lands for the interest of Israel, including the position of occupied Eastern Jerusalem city and the Palestinian refugees' right to return to Palestine.
