Four citizens living in Nagaa Ad Dayr of Awlad Hamza, in the center of Osirat, south of Sohag in Egypt perished in a burning in Libya, as one of them set fire in the room they lived in because of financial disputes.
According to “ahlmasrnews” website, five workers, who are relatives from the "Rizeigat" family in Awlad Hamza travelled to Libya to work, someone set fire in their room, following a quarrel.
This was confirmed by the only survivor, the 24-year-old boy, Islam Khalifa, who confirmed the death of Hisham Fouad, 27 years old, Mahmoud Ali, 25 years old, Tariq Khalifa, 28 years old, and Fadel Abdul Sattar, 26 years old.
One of the relatives confirmed that they knew from some of the villagers in Libya that had a quarrel due to financial dispute had occurred leading to a criminal fire in their room, resulting in the death of four people and the surviving of the fifth, the only witness in this incident, who suffered from different injuries.
The Libyan authorities heard his statements before his returning to Egypt and ordered the Public Prosecution to transfer him to the hospital for treatment.
