The Forces of the Declaration of Freedom and Change in Sudan: The military junta is imitating the former repressive regime’s policies

The forces of the Declaration of Freedom and Change issued a statement in response to the press conference of the junta and confirmed that "the current rulers are just following the same path of the former through the use of security and power in dealing with the political problems."

The statement pointed to the apparent and implicit security threats that came at the military junta conference, considering that the junta recognized its responsibility in committing the massacre, according to the statement of two of its leaders.

The forces of the Declaration of Freedom and Change pointed out that the massacre that took place during the disperse of the protest requires a neutral investigation, in addition to the accountability of the perpetrators. Moreover, it condemned the junta’s attempts to trivialize this massacre and humanitarian crime, pointing out that accusing the forces of the Declaration of Freedom and Change with attempts of coup is " an attempt to smear the forces of the Declaration of Freedom and Change, as the latter stuck to all the peaceful means of protest based on the strength and will of the Sudanese people over six months of the revolution. "

The statement pointed out that the military junta announced that it is the responsible for the militias and all the extremist criminal forces, which carried out the massacre; which justifies its non- commitment to most of the agreements escape on previous agreements." according to the text of the statement.

It is noteworthy that the forces of the Declaration of Freedom and Change in Sudan has announced the temporary suspension of the civil disobedience and the political strike, as well as it has called on to push the military junta to hand over power to the civilians, and to continue to prepare and organize neighbourhood committees and strike committees in various professional and labour sectors.
