The Labour Observatory in Jordan revealed on its official Facebook page that the unemployment rate in Jordan rose to 19.0% during the first quarter of 2019.
The observatory affirmed that this percentage is standard for nearly a quarter of a century, pointing out that it reaches 16.4% among males and 28.9% for the females.
The percentage of youth aged between 20 and 24 years old, among those who did not attend school is 38.5%.
