On Thursday and Friday, canning industries’ workers are expected to go on strike after that the employers’ organization representatives refused to increase their wages for 2018 and 2019.
The General Federation of Food Industries of the Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT) decided to cancel the strike on the food dough sector, which is scheduled for today and tomorrow, as a result of the increase in the workers' wages, according to the signing of the amendment No. 15 by the union chamber of the employers’ organisation.
