The Jordanian Labour Observatory revealed that the Jordanian company for the manufacture of medical, Jordan Medical & Laboratory Solutions Company’, has expelled all the company’s workers, which are 52, in addition to the ending of all the contracts with the drivers, distribution workers’ and security companies, as well as the closure of the company, starting from next July 31st.
The company issued a statement saying that this decision was due to the company's loss of the government’s grants, its inability to compete with the Turkish goods, and the lack of laws protecting the national industry, " which led the company incur successive losses and become unable to continue."
The company confirmed in its statement, that it will pay the workers’ full financial dues, according to the Jordanian Labor Law, until July 31, 2019.
