According to the Sudanese Professionals Association’s Facebook page, the Coalition of Freedom and Change Forces announced in a statement that it will continue the strike near the General Command’s headquarters in Khartoum and in the other squares, in different cities.
The statement came after that the Transitional Military Junta announced the suspension of negotiations with the opposition coalition on the mechanisms of the transfer of power, and stipulated the opening of the closed streets and to the stop escalation to resume negotiations.
The decision to suspend negotiations came after the outbreak of violent movements in the capital, Khartoum, last Wednesday.
The Forces of the Declaration of Freedom and Change blamed the Military Junta for what happened, asserting the continuation of their peaceful escalation as it is "their legitimate right to protect the people’s sovereignty "
