A 35-year-old female farmer from Shibika district of Kairouan governorate was bitten, on Monday morning by a snake, in one of the fields of the area, when she was harvesting peaches.
She was taken to the local hospital, where she received first aid and then she was transferred to the regional hospital in Kairouan. Medical sources confirmed that her condition is stable.
In the same context, on Saturday morning, a traffic accident in the same area took place, following the collision of two trucks, one of them was carrying female workers in the agricultural sector, which resulted in the injury of 4 of them.
They were taken to the regional hospital "Al-Aghlaba" in Kairouan, where they were treated, until their conditions become stable, according to a medical source to the radio, "Jawhara FM".
