The General Federation of Trade Unions of Libya denounced the methods of intimidation and threats exerted by the management of Bolouda company on workers, in the Mediterranean port of Tangier.
In its communiqué, the federation asserted that the company's management insists on violating the collective agreement and the trade union right, through a systematic and fierce attack on the seafarers.
The General Federation revealed that it is ready to confront this injustice and arbitrariness and that it will coordinate with the International Transport Union, in order to provide the support and solidarity to the seafarers, until the collective agreement is implemented and until the company’s management respects the seafarers’ rights and the serious and responsible dialogue with the union.
