The Turkish police said last Wednesday that they had received an urgent call on the Turkish-Greek beaches, after receiving the information that a boat carrying 30 migrants was sinking.
According to media reports, it was confirmed that it sent an urgent request to the Greek police to determine the location of the boat.
The Turkish and Greek police went to the drowning point, where the drown people have been transferred to a safer place.
The Turkish police reported that all the migrants were Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.
