The national recovery workers of the Moroccan Workers’ Union launched a protest last Sunday, in front of the headquarters of the province of the East to ask for the settlement of their situation, and to denounce the working conditions that they described as miserable and cruel.
According to “Rue 20” website, the protesters raised slogans and banners calling for the settlement of their administrative and financial status, taking seniority into account, which is embodied in the hard work and low wages they receive, which does not exceed 1500 dirham (155 dollars).
They also stressed that they are deprived of health coverage, asking for their compensation for the hard work and their integration just like the other employees of public administrations.
