Morocco: Mass resignations among the public health doctors

It is expected that the independent union of the public sector doctors (SIPSP) will organize a national march on Monday, called the march of mourning to force the ministry to meet the public sector doctors’ demands and to protest against their dire professional and social conditions.

In fact, dozens of doctors from the public sector in the East, resigned from the public health sector.

Omar Sharrak, a leader in the independent union of the public sector doctors, revealed that the number of resigned doctors amounted to 63.

The doctors also resigned in a number of other areas to protest against their situations and working conditions, and in general the situation of the health sector in Morocco, which is characterized by many problems.

It is noteworthy that the doctors had earlier carried out several protests to improve their working conditions, defend their dignity and claim their rights, topped by the prenumbering 509, with full compensation for all grades.

These resignations come a few days after that more than 300 doctors from the public sector in the north resigned, too.
