The "Fricool” company for cooling workers in the 10th of Ramadan continue their strike at the company's headquarters for the ninth day in a row, protesting against the company’s owner decision to sell the company and dismiss them by force, in a blatant violation of the law, as they were dismissed without obtaining their financial dues for the period they have spent in the factory since its establishment. Moreover, they called on the government to look into their crisis and preserve their rights.
The workers are waiting for the decision of the Ministry of Manpower regarding the ongoing dispute between the two parties, hoping for a fair decisions in their favour. In fact, the company’s workers were surprised by their layoff, last Sunday, by the owner of the company, who closed d the doors, removed the banners and used a group of thugs who gathered at the gates of the company to prevent the entry of workers to their place of work, in violation of the regulations and labour laws.
In fact, the company owner used a group of unknown people to storm the workers' headquarters inside the company in an attempt to stop their peaceful strike, in the presence of the police, in order to prevent them from granting them their rights guaranteed by the law, until the police intervened to stop the clashes between the two parties.
