Dozens of workers of the National Office for Health Safety of Food Products gathered in front of the headquarters of the office in Rabat at a protest and raised slogans and banners, asking the management of the office and the Ministry of Agriculture to provide the appropriate conditions for work and to protect workers from the physical attacks during work.
Ahmed Wasil, the general secretary of the national coordination of the National Office for Health Safety of Food Products, said in a press statement that the employees of the office left their offices to protest and ask for the meeting of their legal demands, headed by the issuing of the basic law they have been waiting for since the establishment of the office, ten years ago, which he considered as a priority considering the heavy tasks burdening the office’s workers.
