Unexpectedly, the mayor of of Al-Rasifa prevented his employees from taking leaves on the 30th and 31st of this month, and prohibited workers from getting any medical review, except by a letter from the municipality.
Everyone was surprised by the mayor’s decision, which hampered the normal functioning of the municipality and the citizens' interests by preventing the employees from carrying out any inspections or performing duties outside the city.
Many people explained the mayor's attitude by linking it to the strike scheduled for March 31 at the Ministry of Municipal Affairs.
