Al-Juneidi Dairy Company continues to suffer from tension, especially with the insistence of the administration to terminate the services of more than 100 distributors.
The Jordanian Labour Observatory revealed that dozens of the company carried out a strike on Wednesday, in front of the company's headquarters.
According to the Labour Observatory, quoting the distributors’ testimonies that the company has dismissed more than 100 distributors (salesperson) because of their participation in a strike in front of the House of Representatives last Tuesday, in protest against the change of the commission retroactively, and the company’s deduction of its cost from their salaries.
They added that "the company did not only dismiss them but it also threatened them to take a legal action against them to claim the losses they caused," as stated in the correspondent to terminate services.
The company said in the above-mentioned correspondence that the decision of dismissal came because of the manipulation of employees with sales invoices, which was denied by the workers, especially as some jobs have nothing to do with the invoices or financial transactions.
