It is expected that the Council of Ministers of Libya would amend these days the decision number 399 on job classification, which caused significant damage at the level of professional career for doctors and pharmacists in the public hospitals, as well as the graduates of medical schools and pharmacy.
Nermin Al-Cherif, president of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Libya, confirmed that there will be good news for the doctors and pharmacists after her intervention with the Minister of Labour, who contacted the Minister of Health and promised to change the decision in the next few days.
It is known that this decision, despite the gains made by a number of sectors, was unfair to the sector of doctors and pharmacists of the public health.
The meeting was held between the President of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Libya, Nermin Cherif, and the Minister of Labour was attended by the President of the General Union of Public Health Bochra Al-Kasah and her deputy Hawa Al- Aribi.
