The head of the national body to combat human trafficking, Raoudha Laabidi, expressed in a statement to the local media that Tunisia is still suffering from the phenomenon of trafficking in human beings in different ways, such as the employing of minors as domestic workers.
Laabidi said that the statistics indicate that 700 minor girls are exploited annually in inhumane conditions.
