Another tragedy in Egypt: The death of 10 workers and the injury of 15 others in a factory fire in Suez

Ten workers died, while 15 others were injured on Thursday when a fire broke out in a petrochemical factory in Ain Sokhna after a gas leak.

Al-Watan newspaper reported that the injured and deceased workers were transferred to a hospital in Suez Governorate in the city of Al-Salam 2, where the injured are being treated.

The firefighters were able to control the fire inside the factory before its extension, especially with large numbers of workers.

An official source in Ain Sokhna said that a gas leak inside the factory led to the explosion of one of the tanks.
