The Minister of Social Affairs of Tunisia confirmed that the estimated increase in the remuneration of the workers would automatically include the retirees of the public office with the same retroactive effect as of December 2018.
According to the Minister of Social Affairs to the local media, the increase in the employees’ wages indicates that the increase is subject to deduction from the supplier, which are automatically withdraw from the retirees of the public service, within the scope of the automatic modification of the salaries of this segment, in parallel with each direct modification to the workers’ salaries.
