The Court of First Instance in Rabat ruled on Monday to postpone the verdict in the case of leaking “The work’s ethic procedures of the Parliamentary Fact-Finding Committee regarding the Moroccan Retirement Fund” of the parliamentary adviser of the Democratic Confederation of Labour, Abdel Haq Hissen, and the four journalists to the 27th of March session.
The last session coincided with the organization of a mass protest on Wednesday, in which the trade unionists and journalists participated, in front of the Rabat Court of First Instance. They raised slogans condemning this unjust trial, as the accused did nothing but just spreading true information, for which they have the right to maintain the confidentiality of their sources, according to Article 5 of the Publishing and Press Law.
The protestors also chanted slogans condemning and asking for the prosecution of the symbols of corruption and the halt of the trial of Hissen and the four journalists, standing in solidarity with all the trade unionists and journalists, who are victims of unjust trials.
