The Center for Trade Union & Workers' Services in Egypt celebrates its 29th anniversary

The Center for Trade Union & Workers' Services in Egypt is organizing its 29th anniversary on Saturday, March 30, 2019.

For this occasion, the center is holding a press conference to review the issue of intransigence against the independent trade union organizations, the non-implementation of Law No. 213 of 2017 and its executive regulations, as well as the actions taken by these organizations and their intention to confront these practices.

The press conference also addresses the Center for Trade Union & Workers' Services’ position towards the draft labour law in its latest version.

A commemoration will be also held with the presence of a number of public figures and representatives of political forces, parties and civil society organizations, as well as the participation of several trade union representatives from different sectors and governorates.

The commemoration will include the announcement of the results of the strategic planning process, during which 50 activists participated from the center, and the Independent Democratic Workers 'Movement. They reviewed their work plans, evaluated them and read the previous years' experiences and lessons learned in light of the actual changes and developments on the ground.
