Dozens of unemployed youth in the Tafila governorate of Jordan held a protest on Sunday, in front of the governorate’s headquarter to ask for job opportunities.
A number of unemployed people have been holding an open strike, since last Wednesday to protest against the authorities' lack of responsibility for developing the situation and creating job opportunities.
A meeting is expected to be heled with the governor of Tafila and a delegation of protesters, on Monday to discuss the demands raised, as confirmed by the Jordanian Labour Observatory.
