Morocco: Mismanagement and chaos in MEDI 1TV

The MEDI 1 TV union of the Moroccan Workers’ Union decided to carry the red badges on Wednesday (March 13th) to ask for a final solution to the planning problem for the morning workers, as the administration promised to provide a solution but didn’t adhere to its pledge, more than 3 months ago. The Union also ask for the settlement of the problem of low wages that amount to less than 6000 dirhams and to provide all workers with the 13th month benefit.

The union calls for an immediate and urgent solution to the problems facing the Rabat office by preparing a suitable place for work and hosting guests, solving the problem of ventilation, providing a decent space for nutrition, and providing the employees with a lunch grant similar to the one in Tangier, as well as the provision of means of transportation.

The union revealed in a statement that the administration chose to sign temporary contracts as a "strategic choice" in violation of the law and society, highlighting that the use of temporary contracts became the rule rather than the exception.
