The Moroccan nurses and health workers movement announced a protest program in March, asking for their compensation for occupational hazards, the elimination of the job qualifications’ selector, and the creation of the National Commission for Nurses and Health Technicians in Morocco.
The movement also asked for the rights of the victims of Decree No. 535-17-2, the reviewing of the conditions of the unfair promotions and the integration of all the unemployed nurses into the public sector, without a contract.

The Movement of Nurses and Health Technicians in Morocco reiterated its condemnation of what it called "the policy of indifference and procrastination taken by the ministry against the nurses and health technicians. Moreover, its indifference about the tension created among this sector, endangering the health of citizens.”
