The retirees in Sfax governorate confirmed their willingness to defend the right of the private sector pensioners to receive their remunerations, retrospectively, in accordance with the agreement of July 13, 2018 between the Trade Union and the government. Moreover, they called for the withdrawal of article 37 of 1985 in the private sector about the automatic adjustment of pensions.
A huge member of retirees in Sfax governorate gathered, last week, in the headquarters of the Tunisian General Labor Union (UGTT), to stress the need to activate the National Council of the union’s decision and ask for pensions, not less than the minimum guaranteed for any retiree, renewing their rejection of the current law number 43 of 2007.
The retirees called for the update the retrieved medicines’ list, surgeries and the promotion in the reimbursement system for the National Health Insurance, expressing their refusal to deduct 1% of their pensions.
