According to union sources, the headmaster of Dar Al-Khir school in the district of Settat expelled 40 teachers directly after their return from the strike of February 20 in Rabat, called by the National Federation of Education of the Moroccan Workers’ Union.
According to the sources, the head master of the abovementioned school, prevented the teachers from the entering and returning to their work. He told them that they were expelled because “he does not recognize any strike."
The regional coordination of teachers, who were forced to contract in Casablanca in response to restriction and oppression, decided to organize a protest in front of the province of "Settat", accompanied by an open-ended strike.
The sources also confirmed that this strike can turn into a regional strike in front of the Academy of Education in the region. In fact, a regional strike could reach an open-ended strike, in case this problem is not immediately solved.
