The occupying forces attacked tens of Palestinian workers, on Tuesday, at a roadblock near Rachel's Tomb at the entrance to Bethlehem. Consequently, several were injured to various degrees.
Soldiers manning the checkpoint fired tear gas canisters towards the Palestinian workers after protesting their ill-treatment, causing dozens to suffocate from excessive tear gas inhalation.
Soldiers closed the checkpoint following the protest, denying workers access to their workplaces.
