The administrators and employees of all the Ministry of Education institutions launched a protest in all quarters for two hours, starting from Monday 18 February, denouncing the non-respect of the supervisory authority of the agreements concluded with the trade union.
The supervisory authority stopped its commitment to all the agreements concluded with regard to the integration of the joint sector into the education administrates sector and the opening of the recruitment test before the end of this month of 2019, as stipulated in Government Order No. 228 of 2018 concerning the regulation of exceptional provisions for temporary workers and contractors to cut off all forms of fragile employment.
The General Federation of the Ministry of Education employees of the Tunisian General Labour Union asked for the opening of a recruitment test for the workers mentioned before the 28th of this month and the integration of all the agents of the joint sector within the education administrates of all ranks. Moreover, it rejected any attempt to divide the sector in any way, as well as the immediate activation of the 17th May 2018 agreement and the holding of an immediate meeting to resolve the suspended problems.
